I seem to be the first person in the US to look at (and possibly even buy) this product. ELASTIC - to discomfort. THEY WILL NOT FIT YOU LIKE THE MODEL IN THE PHOTO - while the waist is slim and tight, the leg holes are very loose. So unless you have a very unusually thin waist and super defined hips, you're not going to get the gym look. I don't think the model suits you. For reference, I'm 5'10", weigh 188 pounds, wear a US waist size of 30-31 inches and an actual waist size of 34-35 inches. . I ordered SMALL and the shorts were true to size except for a very strong elastic and very roomy/loose at the hips. The only way to call these shorts comfortable, like everything in the Spanish reviews, is if you wear at least one size up. than what you usually wear and you are wearing these BIG SIZE basketball shorts but again not what is advertised in the pictures.
