I love to bake and I have a baking cabinet. I don't keep my baking supplies in the pantry, so the size of the containers I need matters. This is the perfect size for all those loose little packages taking up space in your closet; I always have lots of raisins, poppy seeds, specialty sugar, leftover nuts, cranberries, etc. I bought large containers for flour and sugar, which you can see in the photos, but they didn't fit in my cupboard. two deep (only next to each other). So they took up too much space and I needed small ones for my small baked goods. My baking cabinet still needs a lot of work but it looks much better than before, too bad I don't have a photo! One thing I didn't consider when looking for storage bins is that the top of the lid is wider than the bottom of the bin. This confused me so much that I could put large and medium containers in two depths and that led me to these containers that I can now stack with my other depth containers. I used medium containers that didn't match the large ones to store pantry items. Win! As you can see in the last photo, I still have groceries that need to be stored in containers to keep them fresher longer, so I've ordered another set! I put them in the dishwasher the day I put them on the top shelf and they worked great. I didn't buy them for fridge, freezer or microwave use, so I can't comment on that. I bought this for haberdashery only and am very satisfied.
