When I opened it I was pleased that it far exceeded my expectations. There is practically no collection. You lift the thick hardboard walls and it takes shape, then push the hardboard floor into place and finally place the soft stool cover on top, and you're done. It comes with a matching soft indoor mattress that we can use in the winter when it gets colder, but my cats mostly prefer to sleep on a nice and cool floor. In the product photos, the TV screen looks a little vulgar, but in real life it looks perfect, a little cartoonish and a little quirky, but not too much. The rust color of the rest is the perfect choice to match almost any decor. Keep your expectations reasonable, although I think the upper will be strong enough to support a person's feet as a pillow, I have no plans to ever use it. there. My two cats have snuggled together on top of each other and slept in the sunshine, for a total of about twenty-five pounds and not the slightest hint of sagging. Man, I like that my cats think about it.
