Review on ๐ŸŒˆ KIMILAR 2 Pack Soft Woven Fabric Bands for Fitbit Versa 3 / Sense - Breathable Accessories for Women and Men by Pamela Beatty

Good for the price - would buy again - could use a boost

Firstly, the only reason I'm leaving a review is because they offer a $20 gift certificate! something I despise when reviews are clearly wrong ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ So my honest review would be: The overall look of the bands (I have 2 woven ones) is pretty good. They came in a small sealed plastic bag with the brand name and some information printed on it, along with an instruction card and a gift card. The instruction card has a page for woven straps and a page for leather straps, and everything in the box is written in (really good) English. As a person who sews and works with fabrics, these ribbons seem to be of rather average quality. You get what you pay for the kind of quality. Some of the other reviews mention that they "opened" or "fell apart" after a few weeks, and I'd say that's definitely something I've seen with heavy use. The straps appear to be 2 layers of woven material glued together (which is fairly typical - not exactly "poor quality" at this price point) meaning it has been regularly worn, heated or just plain "rough" is used, it will quickly fall apart. In all honesty, you could probably just glue the fabric together and use a lighter to gently melt the edges together (think like paracord) to secure or lock them. With those small stitches only on the small part that moves to hold the excess tape, again it will be more prone to layer separations. Where there is a small seam it is not very well done so I would expect the small moving part to come loose fairly quickly; which is no problem for me. The straps are quite comfortable. They're soft, pliable, and seem to work (and stay) with my Fitbit Sense. The clasp appears to be metal at first glance, but I'd say it's probably a very strong plastic. However, this is not bad quality. Overall I only paid $10 due to the $2 coupon offered and at that price for 2 strips I would say it was definitely worth it. I'll probably add some quick stitches to reinforce in layers but it takes me 2 seconds with no money and a lot of effort ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
