Review on πŸ’» ASUS 10.1-Inch ME301T-A1-WH Tablet with 16GB Storage (White) by Ada Borkowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Purchased in August, it has been a fantastic flight for the past six months. Does not suffer from lagging or slowdowns. I had a couple of instances in which I was forced to restart the device, but this should be tried to load the RAM first. Additionally, this occurred when I was using third-party applications, so it is not a given that the device is to blame. I didn't rut, by the way, and I don't see the point in doing so, because the original firmware works without any complaints, and the load of at least 16 GB is more than plenty, given that the media files are stored on the memory card. Good sensor. Anything, including video, may be displayed adequately on the screen thanks to its sufficient resolution. Any games are removed; nevertheless, it is still being put together on the Tegra. In general, for this amount of money (12890 was spent), there simply were not any alternatives available at the time from top brands. Yeah, it does not have 3G connectivity, but I did not require it in any setting (at home, at work, etc.). There is Wi-Fi, and if there isn't any, I can get it on my smartphone and give it to myself. The camera is nothing special; it's not really a camera, but you may use it to take pictures of documents. If you use the tablet for an hour and a half at a time for things like watching movies, cartoons for kids, or playing with toys, the battery will last for a whole day of use. And finally, but certainly not least: stereo speakers with outstanding sound. But, this is such a questionable benefit; who needs that sound if most people would be using headphones?

Pros
  • Solid hardware, a Tegra processor, reliable wireless connectivity, and excellent audio quality for a tablet
Cons
  • The batteries will last for one day, but this is a typical feature at this price point; the display is not retina, but is it truly necessary?
