Review on 🎧 Philips SHE8500 Black Ergonomic In-Ear Headphones - Noise Isolating Earbuds by June Reeves

Sounds good but quality is a bit low

I've been using the Philips SHE9000 for years and they've been great but unfortunately like most things they've just worn out. I tried to buy the same ones but unfortunately they seem to be out of production so I settled on these. Neck. I've used asymmetric ones before, so this design doesn't bother me, although I don't necessarily prefer it. In terms of sound quality, it's good, no complaints. The bass is definitely noticeably stronger/louder than the SHE9000s I've used, which can be a good or bad thing depending on the type of music you're listening to. The only thing that really worries me is that the cable is made out of this somewhat hard plastic that's prone to hardening and cracking. In other words, I honestly don't think they'll last as long as my previous in-ear headphones because they were woven fabric rather than plastic. Overall the quality you get is pretty fantastic for the price. There's nothing overwhelming about it, but it works for what you need it for. The only thing I would have liked for these earbuds would be an anti-tangle mechanism, they can get tangled up pretty easily, especially since the right earbud is quite long.
