I have had this camera for a little over a month and am very happy with this product. Overall, thanks to the amazing Leica lens, the images come out sharp, crisp and with natural colors. This camera has many options that allow it to be a simple point-and-shoot system under IA control, but also gives beginners some room for creativity with its manual options. The large zoom range offers a lot of flexibility and is great if you plan to use it while traveling. It's a little bulky at around 1.1 pounds if you want to compare it to a camera that fits in your pocket, but its size is really imperceptible due to the comfortable grip it comes with. It certainly weighs less than those fancy DSLRs. I was also pleased with the video capabilities and the camera's ability to capture still images when the video is on. The camera starts up very quickly overall and the waiting time for the recording is minimal. Indoor shots can be a bit yellowish though, but a lot of that can also depend on the scene chosen. My only other issue with this camera at the moment is that the menus can be a bit confusing when looking for the specific settings I'm interested in. I find it's a learning curve and will get easier as I play more with this camera. This camera does a lot and is a great little device for the price range. I think many will be satisfied for a beginner amateur photographer like me. This should certainly satisfy the average consumer used to just simple aiming and shooting. I highly recommend this product.
