Review on Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 11 inch - 2 Pack with Alignment Frame - SPARIN by Timothy Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The frame helps a lot!

Before using this product, when I put a screen protector on one of my devices, I always had to do a few tries to get the screen protector to fit the screen of the device properly, which inevitably resulted in fingerprints or dust on the screen protector, the device screen or both. In case the screen is "uniformly flat", the mounting aid frame saves you 90% of the trouble of applying a screen protector. You can clean the screen as usual with the included dust-removal wipes and stickers, then attach the frame and then, if you usually have to fiddle with the alignment for a while to get it right, you can instead proceed directly to attaching a screen protector to the screen . I forgot to mention that the bezel does not stay on the tablet after installing the screen protector. It's as easy to attach and remove as opening or closing the lid of a Tupperware container. This "alignment frame" idea is so groundbreaking that in the future I will ALWAYS try to buy screen protectors that have some sort of alignment aid if possible. That is, unless there is some other factor that makes such a tool unnecessary, such as: B. ones that attach to the device with dots of UV glue, which I've seen on phones with a screen that wraps around the edge, like the Samsung Galaxy S21. which I plan to switch to after having a Galaxy S7 , as this phone was the latest and greatest (hope the new phone lasts at least as long as the old one, which shouldn't be hard given the USB-C port instead of the much more fragile micro-USB port on my S7) . As for the screen protector itself, I basically forgot about it after installing it. All I can say is that it's there, if I run my fingernail across the screen to the edge, there's a very small area around the screen ( less than 1mm wide and no matter how thick the screen protector is) the edge, on which the screen protector stops but the screen glass itself continues to move for a while. . If I don't specifically look for this edge, I don't even feel it. As for the touchscreen, I don't use a fingerprint scanner, but if anywhere on the screen there is a difference in touchscreen responsiveness compared to a tablet without a screen protector, I can't tell. Any errors that occur are either my fault for pressing the buttons too fast and my fingers can't keep up, or the fault of an app or website I'm using with tiny buttons. , buttons too close together or other bad UI design choices (this mostly happens with government and non-ISP public utility websites as they almost always use old and/or outdated websites, applications and servers because "why do it better , if it still works?").

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance
