UPDATE: I had the opportunity to test this product again. I found that the internals of the very first series (when I bought them) had been improved and I wanted to try again as I love the aesthetic and quality construction of these headphones. I tried both ME01 and ME03. sets, and both sets are quite different from my initial experience. The sound is significantly stronger and "fuller" (low, middle and high frequencies). I actually prefer the ME03 because of the better mids, since the ME01 is a bit leaner in the highs. But both sound great and I will definitely buy them again. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Given the price and the recent hype surrounding this company, I was expecting a lot more. Pros: They look modern and stylish. The cable is flat and does not tangle. Discreet in-ear fit with interchangeable rubber ear tips. Cons: The soundstage isn't full or powerful like I'd expect for this price point. Bass, mids and treble are all decent but not impressive. Doesn't make a great impression, just average. I also can't get the volume as high as I want on the iPhone 6 (everything is maxed out). You buy headphones for the sound quality and they are not worth the price.
