Mid-level example of the Apple Airpod Pro, upgradeable

I own several different headphones and consider myself an expert in headphone review and comparison. I've been using them for over 2 months now and here are my results. Price first, for something with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and high-quality material, these headphones sit in the mid-range. They're not super cheap, but they're not expensive from Apple either. I'd say the price is almost right, not very good if you ask me. The earphones use the latest version of BT 5.0, which guarantees stability and a longer range compared to BT 4.2. In the dozens of times I've used and tested them, I've never had a drop in call or tone. Exceptionally reliable. The earbuds look almost exactly like the Airpods Pro, have the same fit and are exceptionally well designed specifically for small to medium ears. Bigger ears may have some fit issues and this can end up sacrificing a bit, affecting sound quality and noise-cancellation. The earbuds connect to the body magnetically and sit horizontally in the body, which is fairly sleek. and charged via the USB-C cable on the back. One of the main issues and frustrations I had the first few times was that when I plug these headphones into a new device there are no notifications on the case like lights or buzzing or whatever, nor is there any sound notification in the headphones. Basically you have to play something on the source device to see if you can hear sound from the headphones and make sure they're plugged in, which is frustrating. The noise reduction was the first thing I tried in different environments. What I can say for sure is that the ANC works very well given its size, I was very happy with the ANC. It's easy to activate with a long press on the headphones and is very good at blocking out ambient noise. Another thing that works really well is the microphone. Somehow Honor found a way to really reduce background noise when recording with three microphones and deliver clear audio. with reduced noise. Sound quality is the main factor for me to get a star here, while almost everything else about these headphones is a good copy of Airpods Pro, the sound quality is pretty poor compared to Airpods. The drivers aren't bad and at 10mm they're pretty good. However, above 60-70% volume things start to fall apart. The high frequencies are annoying and the headphones struggle with the high frequencies. The mids are okay and the lows are usually converted to mids with an earphone. And don't get me started on loud bass it's nowhere to be found lol just forget the bass altogether it's easier that way. I almost always turned the volume down to 50-60 percent, which doesn't bode well for relatively high-end headphones. The battery is good. That gives you around 3 hours (mostly music with a few calls) and a full charge can give you an extra 12-13 hours, which is pretty good. Since it charges with USB-C, as we said, topping up the charging case's capacity with phone chargers is pretty easy. The only thing I would have liked from the case was the wireless charging feature that some of the newer headphones have. Overall these are pretty good headphones, well made with quality material, have ANC and a good charging case with a very good form factor and fit. I recommend it for the average user, but if you're looking for quality sound and you're a music lover, look elsewhere as it won't give you the best sound. Not even second or third best in that regard.
