Confirm if the indicators are lit.
I used this fiber optic cable in my Prius to make sure the headlights are on. I simply glued a piece to each headlight and fed the other end into the car. Now I know if I have light. I could use one more detail to make sure the attic lights are off. For this purpose it works great. In the car it was slightly bent at both ends and still works the same.
