Drywall Repair Kits are required before painting. If you have picture frame holes or scratches and dents, you can make them invisible after painting over them. In fact, when I was younger I always did, repainted and always got my full deposit back. We are currently selling our house and I used it throughout the house before repainting. The kitchen especially has a lot of corner divisions and it works like a charm. You can create another level if you didn't succeed the first time. It comes with a handy trowel and sandpaper to help you get your wall perfectly smooth and even. Gloves too, but I haven't adjusted them as needed.
