Revision - the case immediately began to burst and the glass splintered. I tried very hard to find a watch that wasn't Chinese crap but had the price of a quality watch but didn't work as such. This is a very beautiful watch. I looked around a lot, my brother wanted a pocket watch that runs on batteries. I figured it would have to be like me and easy to read. So this watch seemed to strike the right balance for a respected manufacturer, a good size with an easy to read dial and price. I figured he'd rather have a big dial that's easy to read than one overloaded with extras, and I was right.
