The Explorer has a very deep center armrest and things get lost all the time. This fits perfectly on top, leaving plenty of room underneath for your usual clutter. Only for information. They redesigned it to sit slightly angled rather than flush, and also have a groove so your USB or AC power port is still exposed. They left a small slit there for a nice touch, but you don't need it anymore. I'm glad they thought about how the center armrest was designed. Thats much better. There are also two sticky mats included to keep your belongings from spilling and the large one is perfect for hiding some cash underneath in an emergency! I'm glad I got it.
