I bought these for my wife and I to wear our modular helmets which I bought separately. Installation was fairly easy (slight speaker placement issues, but nothing major). The difficulty was mostly in the helmet, not the cardo modules. With the fully enclosed modular helmet, the sound from the JBL speakers was very clear. As long as your mic and speakers are properly aligned in your helmet, these things are just a dream. I still haven't mastered all the bells and whistles they offer, but the ones I know are very impressive. The fact that they are "waterproof", as is the case with HIGH rainproofing, was one of the biggest selling points for me. Sena's top models are not designed for rain. Looks pretty silly for a communication device designed for motorcycling. In any case. Pairing is effortless with both other devices and our phones. The battery life has been excellent so far. Listening to music is very good but very limited bass as one would imagine for a 40mm speaker. . At highway speeds with non-original pipes, I can still clearly hear my wife talking to me. The noise cancellation is probably the best I've heard. I opened my module at about 40 mph and my wife said she didn't hear any wind noise but could still hear me clearly. The microphone was directly in the wind. Loud whistles cut out after about 2 seconds if you're wondering. If you are looking for a premium communication device, you have definitely found it.
