It seems to use cables that are taller than most headphones and is as comfortable as any. As for the sound, one has to understand that it is not sweetened ie it does not "amplify" the bass which might lead someone to believe that it sounds less than desirable when playing heavy bass with devices/apps with bad bass hears or non-existent equalizer. This way you can set the equalizer yourself depending on what you're listening to, that is, if you're using cheap players with simple tunes. Not for you. However, if you want to take control of precise audio, headphones are great.
