Review on Case Logic Huxton13 3 Attache HUXA 113BLK by Curtis Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for Surface Pro 6 " or 11 " gaming laptops.

Let me start by saying that I'm a computer enthusiast and a semi-professional photographer, so I spent quite a bit of time trying out dozens of cases until I found the best one to fit my previous laptops and to protect my current Canon DSLR with multiple attachments and 4 lenses. falls to the ground, I know my $1,600 investment is well protected from being reused. They are broken! I recently had a Promate case for my surface tablet and it had a metal shoulder strap that broke after 2 weeks, the case is back and I'm expecting a refund any moment. 3- This pocket is the perfect size for the tablet. Surface Pro 6 or other large tablet. Not too much extra space and not cramped in the slightest. I can fit the SPRO in the case you see in the photos with the Type Cover keyboard and Surface Pen attached, leaving enough room to slide the tablet in and out of my bag without even using the Surface Pen to have to remove. The zip to open the bag has extra material horizontally to allow the bag to expand sideways when filled, giving you room to the top of the bag if you want to quickly roll up a t-shirt, for example 5- There are 4 compartments in the Bag: A- The first compartment is on the back of the bag where the SPRO fits perfectly and as far as possible from any accessories that could pinch the dividers, trying to poke a hole in it. B- A bag that does NOT reach the bottom of the bag attached to the divider of the first compartment. I use it for Kindle Fire. And let me tell you, it's VERY SMART that it doesn't reach the bottom of the case because it allows the SPRO power supply in the middle compartment to slide under the Kindle, not increasing the horizontal size of the case! Also, the head of the power cord (which goes into the outlet) goes under the firelighter pocket! I can also stand my Kindle upright to make more room for the middle shelf. C- Middle Compartment: This is the largest compartment and can hold a good 11-13 inch gaming laptop if you want. I used to have an Alienware M11 and I can safely say it fits in there perfectly. I use it for a SPRO power supply plus a Bose QC35 with some room left over, maybe for a mouse, or if you have a SPRO docking unit. D- The last compartment closest to the front of the bag. : This is the thinnest of the compartments, I guess it's there to hold some papers or a thin file. I think it's very handy for storing mine and family's passports, boarding passes and booking records, maybe a small magazine. even when we travel. 4- The front zippered storage compartments (two) are large enough to hold a Galaxy Note 5 (in size) smartphone. Smartphones Samsung Galaxy Note 5 plus HTC U115- Case Color: Okay it was a bit mixed up, Case Logic claims it's black and I say NO. I can best describe Oil Black because it has a very dark green accent. The material of the bag can even be easily recognized by the actual black strap, black handles or black shoulder strap under white light, although they are black, the material of the bag itself is said to be advertised as dark greenish black. This is where Case Logic dropped a star from me because I personally love black and all my cases are black, and now this one has a unique color that makes it stand out from the rest. 6- Material of the bag: I can't say much about this as I've only had the bag for a few days. But one of the reasons I chose Case Logic is the good history of their bags, which made me trust their craftsmanship and the quality of the materials they use in their products. I will update this review if the material shows wear sooner than expected.
