Review on πŸ’§ Aquatec PSW-240 Tank Shut Off Switch - Enhance Performance of Aquatec Booster Pumps by Jacqueline Mclaurin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little unit! in Booster & Hook-On Seats

This works very well for me. I installed an Aquatec 8800 pump on my reverse osmosis system for my aquarium. This was my first time using the system in any form, so I did a lot of research to find out the real use of the pump. My water pressure wasn't high enough, averaging 42psi, so I decided to bite the bullet and risk the pump. I've used a shut-off float in my RO/breather tank and liked that I didn't have to worry about the water shutting it off when it was full. This device was very easy to integrate into the pump; It was installed in less than 10 minutes. The first night I made water while I was in bed and I was very worried that I would wake up to water the whole floor (it is installed next to the drain so there is no flooding but the floor gets wet would). were wet, with much wasted water. When I went to check the device, it was quiet. great sign (pump is moderately loud. lol) all was right with the world. I've used it 4 times since then and it hasn't let me down. It was worth the money for the time saved as I didn't have to watch the pump turn it off and also wasting water (and electricity).
