The Thunderbolt 3 port only works with the power cord.
I tried to connect a Thunderbolt 3 port to a monitor but it didn't work for me. However, he worked on the power cable. So it's not entirely useless. The product was made with inferior quality just by looking at it. But I think you get what you pay for.
