I ordered size XXL which fits up to a 46 inch waist. The total length of the strap I received was 46 inches including the length needed to attach the buckle and the length for the corner cut for the strap. By the time I mount the buckle, adjust the waist so the belt goes 2 inches through the buckle, and cut off the corner at the end of the belt, the belt is about 41.5 inches long. Long. So, either I got the wrong length belt, or the sizing on the listing needs to be revised. Most likely the item will be returned.
