So I tried a few of these starting with the cheap version with yes. This item is great for the price and features. Light weight, easy to use and overall appearance. I absolutely recommend this for the welder/weekend hobbyist. This is not a replacement for a full face helmet, remember. But so far it has served me flawlessly on my classic car project. The canvas welding hoodie is too big and too hot for me, so put on the helmet cap and weld. The only downside is that it has to come with an extra screen protector.
