I'm not a music lover but I want a reliable kit and have long been frustrated with having mics/headsets on hand for gaming and just general communication. I combine it with a shock absorber and a matching cap filter and everything is fine. However, I have a particular problem with the microphone. It has a weird habit of pulsing every now and then without recognizing my computer. Aside from being uncomfortable, it also pulses with noise and sometimes causes me to be unable to use the mic reliably. I haven't determined the exact reason for this yet. I can't tell if it's hardware or software yet, but it seems to be hardware related or the built in cable; sometime between the microphone itself, my hand and my computer. I'm saying this because I'm fairly familiar with my motherboard's sound system at the moment and have chuckled a lot about codecs and playback in the past. Thanks for the buggy Windows updates. And none of them seem to help. Likewise, changing the USB ports I used and my other audio settings didn't change anything. It's unusual, but a little annoying. Will keep looking for a solution. But so far 4/5.
