If you wear other sunglasses, you make a mistake. They are the clearest lenses because they are made of glass rather than plastic, so there is virtually no distortion and the polarization produces the brightest, most crystal clear field of vision imaginable. Try riding in the pouring rain with a pair and you'll never ride without them again. They cut through bright light and you can see several hundred yards better than without them. No pair anywhere. I have both colored lenses as I go out into the wild a lot. I left a few rafting at the bottom of a river in Alaska, there are a few 2000 feet below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean, and somewhere near Sanibel Island there are a few at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. I lost a few points and will not buy any other points except Maui Jims. However, if you are very active, buy a head harness to protect them from the same fate.
