My first thought was disappointment as everything is plastic. I've been using it for over a month now and I honestly don't want to go back to GMC's HEAVY metal key fob. Maybe you like having heavy weights to make your pants heavier. Maybe you like buttons that you can't read anymore. Maybe you like eating tide pods - everyone can make their own choice. I will not go back to the metal keychain. Yes, the buttons feel different when pressed, but they work great the way they are. Check out some videos on how to take the old one apart - I broke my factory key fob and a small piece of the new one, but it still stays together and works great. No regret.
