I first slept on this pillow at a relative's house. I am petite (5'3") and have been searching for a contour pillow with a lower profile and softer support. I slept on this and it was perfect. Perfect squish factor. So I ordered my own on Walmart. But mine does not have the soft squish factor; it has the squish factor of a standard-ish medium-support foam pillow. I've tried softening it up (heating pad plus sitting on it for hours at a time), with no noticeable loss of foam structure. So. the good news is that if you are looking for a standard contour pillow this one may keep its shape for a long time. But maybe the softer version will arrive instead. Who's to say? I'm at my relative's house again, and I can tell by squishing it with my hand how different the two are. Same look, same label, same extra layer of foam in the second pocket. Maybe they changed the material/foam supplier because people complained the previous one was too soft? Well, if you have the soft version and want to trade. I'm still looking for my perfect pillow.
