These are the first flower scissors I have bought but so far they seem excellent. They reflect the ingenuity, efficiency and elegance of Japanese design and have made every task I've used them for (trimming flower stems, pruning and pruning indoor and outdoor plants) easy and enjoyable. They are very comfortable to hold, nice and light but not flimsy. The mechanism is extremely smooth. I love the cheerful yellow color (which makes them easy to spot even in the garden!) and I appreciate blade sheaths for both safety and the expectation that the protection will extend the life of the blades. .
