Doesn't look as luxurious as a normal "fashion" purse, but I'll forgive that. The water resistance and cut-resistant material make it difficult to create a product that can compare to a stylish handbag. However, if you don't like fancy purses, then this is perfect! It's big and really keeps you calm whether you're abroad (I was in Peru and one of my traveling companions had someone reach into his back pocket to try and get his wallet!) or at home. You can never be too sure. Although attaching security devices takes a few extra seconds, you don't always have to attach them. And since there are three separate compartments, all with zips, if you have a bag that fits a lot, leave it open, or if a bag only has an elastic band and you don't mind if it gets stolen, leave this one Compartment open .but still with zipper. I personally love this bag and the security it offers. If you want a prettier bag (or bigger/smaller/different) but also put safety first, go to the Travelon website, find your perfect size, then google Revain and see if it has it here is cheaper. There are many options and I have to say I'm a bit jealous of the gray one my friend got, it's really cute!
