Last year I bought Capezio Fluid Tap women's shoes in sizes 7 and 7.5, while my usual street size is 6.5 or 7 depending on the shoe. 7 were narrow in width and short/narrow in the toe but I figured they would think they would stretch. I also read online that tap shoes should fit in a toe box without much room. Shoes stretched a little. However, almost a year later I had to buy a new pair of tap shoes because they were too painful for my (big) toes. The inside of the shoe is very soft, they hold up very well and produce a decent sound. So feel free to buy a pair if you're interested, but be aware they may not stretch much, if any, in the toe area. .
