I recently removed the old cedar siding from an old house and replaced it with vinyl siding. The security camera that was screwed into the cedar bog needed to be attached to the vinyl somehow and I believe these hooks provide the best way to do that without damage. In very strong updrafts I could see the camera rise and the hooks release causing the camera to fall to the concrete. But hopefully that won't happen!
