Purchased for a 14 month old foster child who loves Little Baby Bum on Netflix. Before that, he had never liked stuffed animals, but I was determined to give him some comfort gifts before sleep training. It worked and after a few days he fell in love. He only knows about 4 words, but "star" soon became the fifth. I ask "where is the star"? And looks everywhere. I was so happy. Then, as other reviewers have pointed out, the battery drain is insane. But he loved it so much that I didn't care. Back then, he didn't even know how to turn it on and off. I love the light most of the time. you look cool Almost like Christmas lights inside. When we drive at night I can put it on his lap and it's like a night light in a car. But I find them too bright to turn on when I put them down. I thought the star was smaller, but it isn't. It's the perfect pillow for him. It's been a month now and it's already broken. I went to check on him the other night when he woke up crying. He figured out how to turn the light on himself, but I couldn't get him to turn the light off. There were about 10 attempts. This has happened to me twice already, so I won't be changing the batteries again. And now he's in love with his star, so getting her back will be problematic because he can't sleep without her. I'll try again, but I see I'm not the first person to have this problem. PS I don't find the music "creepy" or too loud. There was a song I didn't know. I thought it might be in Spanish. But now someone else has posted a list of songs (I didn't understand them) and I'm thinking "Dos Re Mi" (spelling?).
