PROS: - Immediately after the product shipped I received a message from the seller with setup instructions including a YouTube video and text instructions - I provided my own SIM card by Freedompop and she did a great job. Uses Google Maps so it's familiar and the industry gold standard. Lots of ways to track via SMS, website or app. I prefer to use just text or a website. - Geofence option - History - This gives it an edge over trackers like Tile which only tell you where they are now not where they've been - GPS is also superior to trackers like Tile which are Bluetooth based and therefore only short range - Long battery life CONS: - Setup may seem difficult unless you're very tech savvy. The videos really help though. I'm good with technology so it was easy for me. - Battery life isn't as good as a tracker like Tile, but I think the GPS capabilities and history are worth it. - The size is a bit big and bulky, but big part because of the battery. However, it's not the best size to carry on a keychain or in a purse. Better for things like luggage, backpack, etc. I've added a photo to show the size compared to my hand and business card - If a thief stole something, they could just throw the GPS tracker away. Actually, this is not a minus, since it can happen with any tracker. Actually, it can't deter thieves, it mostly helps to find lost things.
