The only thing you need to know is that you need to power your BMPCC4K/6K externally if you are using a microphone that requires phantom power. I recently bought a RODE NTG5, which has no internal battery and therefore requires phantom power. By the way, the NTG5 is a great microphone. Of course, the beauty of using adapters like this is that you don't have to worry about timing when fasting.
