I bought these pillowcases for my own use on the small bed pillows I have. This is a great deal for the price you pay. The material is not very thick, it seems thin, but the quality of the material is good in my opinion. I like the navy blue which I think is a wise choice as possible future stains on the pillowcase probably won't be as noticeable. I was happy with that. The pillowcases are more natural which means they are a bit rough at first (I have a feeling this is because they are made of high quality cotton or because of the thick weave there are a lot of fibers. I could be wrong). I don't think the pillowcases are scratchy or uncomfortable and laid my face on them and I realize a reviewer or two wrote about them being scratchy and rough. I was very happy with this purchase and have ordered two more. The machine will shrink after the first wash and dry.
