Review on π Fram Extra Guard CH6848, High Mileage Cartridge Oil Filter with 10,000 Mile Change Interval by Phillip Jaylon
Used a lot but recent use was disappointing
I have used this filter on my 1996 E320 for over 200,000 miles of oil changes. Up until the last experience I never had anything to complain about. The felt sleeve (pictured above the filter) fell off when I put the filter in the camera and this has never happened. Also, the rubber O-ring that came with it was wrong. It was about 1 inch larger in diameter so I had to reuse the one that came with the previous filter.
