This is a very solid item. I have a Canon 90d with a battery and an 18-55mm lens with a lens hood. I've worked on many major motion pictures and TV shows and grew up with professional steadicam setups. I like it for a basic DSLR setup, it's great. Just practice with it, watch some videos how to use it and you will get what you want.
