Review on Tenba Solstice 20L Backpack 636 414 by Peter Barrera

Nearly perfect.

This 2.4 backpack is almost perfect. Its depth matches my Olympus M1X with a little wiggle room. It has enough room for my 300mm f4, 7-14mm f2.8, 12-40mm f2.8, 40-150mm f2.8 and I still have room for at least one more, maybe two more lenses and also for other different lenses. small photographic equipment (teleconverters, caps, tape, etc.). There is a top compartment that I can tuck my jacket into which is accessible not only from the back panel but also from the top. The front compartment offers space for a second jacket, gloves, snacks, pads and a tablet. I haven't completed this package yet. Of course it has two side pockets for water bottles, which can also be used to carry a tripod. The bag is comfortable to wear, although the waist belt doesn't sit as much on the hips as I would like (it doesn't sit low enough). The zippers work very well and are light, even under load or stress (e.g. when you access your gear with a backpack through the back panel). Another thing I like is that I can fold and zip the waist strap around the front of the bag and then fold the shoulder straps back to the front of the bag and pull them together with the chest strap. This makes transport easier and avoids snagging or looping of the straps. The bag would be ABSOLUTELY perfect if it had a side handle so I could carry it like luggage. Needless to say, to my surprise, this is the best camera bag/backpack I have ever owned. Works great for me.
