I'm impressed with its strength and wide slot spacing. It won't let those little "chunks" fall through, but it doesn't take forever to sift through all the stuck debris. I have one cat that urinates too much due to kidney disease and another with occasional diarrhea due to intestinal disease. This shovel does a good job of both. They call it jumbo but I think it's a good size not super big. It gets the job done faster than any other shovel I've used. I have ordered two more for other trays to replace the flimsy plastic tray and the huge sturdy tray with slots that are too wide. The only minor complaint is that it's not good for corners. (I use giant deep containers meant for catering and the like, not those little pet store bowls. Cats love the space and are cleaner.) The litter won't stick to this spoon and it's easy to clean. Excellent product!
