Nice look, too much noise

First off, the larger LCD and the slightly larger phone that resulted is definitely an improvement over my 10 year old model. The longer message recording time is also an improvement. I am not satisfied with the sound quality, Bluetooth or the answering machine display on the main unit. The worst is the sound quality. There is a lot of noise on the phone. I'm not sure if it's because I went from a two-phone device to a three-phone device, or because of built-in Bluetooth, or because one of the phones is next to the computer but the background noise is pretty noticeable. (I get my phone line from Comcast along with cable and TV, in case that matters). Then the Bluetooth feature is too clunky to be valuable. When it was connected, every time the phone rang I got a notification asking if I wanted to use my cell or landline and I had to choose and then answer. This also only worked if the cell was not far from the main block. Finally, the number of response messages glowing on the main unit is almost unreadable. (Not the one on the phone. The one on the main unit). I turned off my cell phone in hopes of reducing static electricity, but to no avail.

Cons
  • It's hard to remember, but it was
