This travel backpack has amazing volume and capacity. I've used it for several day trips to theme parks, hikes, etc. and it hasn't disappointed yet. The expandable zippered straps help keep my center of gravity close to my body and also allow for a variety of storage options. I like the ability to access the interior of the main compartment through the small side vents that connect to the cup holders inside. The inner lining and mesh help stabilize and regulate the temperature inside on hot days, so your favorite candy bar doesn't turn into a puddle. Another plus is the fact that it rinses off very easily and doesn't stink even though I've been lying on my sweaty back all day. My main complaints are twofold, and I consider them minor rather than a deal breaker: 1. I would like more outside access. Although I appreciate simplicity and smooth surfaces, sometimes I don't feel like rummaging in my bag for little things.2. Loose straps. Once you have everything tightened to your liking, there is no good system for getting rid of the extra strap length. I've found them bothering me, hanging around, or distracting me.
