I bought this backpack for a summer trip to Asia and am very happy with how it performs. In some airports in North America, in a busy subway system and on buses in cities like Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Taipei and others, no one has managed to break open this bag, although I carried it on my back all the time. (It is common to carry backpacks on the front to avoid theft in these regions). It also passed X-ray scanners at airports and subway stations without any problems. Carrying it all day didn't cause back pain like big bags usually do. The charging port also worked like a charm. I took two power banks (https://www.amazon.com/GETIHU-High-Speed-Powerbank-Flashlight-Compatible/dp/B07DK768W5/) that fit perfectly into the rectangular cases inside the main compartment, and took them everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. Whenever my phone needed charging (which often happened due to prolonged use of the camera and Baidu cards), all I had to do was plug the charging cable into the port on the right side of the case. The correct position of the cord inside the bag made this possible. I haven't used all of the hidden compartments, but I think they will come in handy as well. It is recommended to leave the zippers in the main compartment completely on one side or the other for maximum security. I will take this backpack with me next time I go on adventures in places like this and more!
