Let me start by saying that Asus blew everyone away with this headset of truly amazing craftsmanship. I mainly play on PS4 and sometimes on PC, I was looking for another headset, I had Arctis Pro + Gamedac, Arctis Pro Wireless and currently Sennheiser GSP 670, by far the best soundset I've had. went to Sennheiser which I still own. But jump into Asus Theta and compare playing PUBG on PS4 and you'll see the clear winner for positional sound. Asus with 4 separate drivers in each ear was amazing, the sound flows smoothly around the headset and the directional sound is the best I've ever had or seen. heard with the largest soundstage I have ever experienced. Sennheiser are fantastic, don't get me wrong, the key here is that you are using 2 speakers in traditional gaming headsets, 1 in each earcup. 2 speakers cannot reproduce the surround sound and location properly like a 2 channel home theater system. But with 8 speakers, each with its own channel, you now have something special. There is finally a headset that has taken what everyone else has done and done something amazing! Asus, if you're reading this, you'll never change.
