It's great because it's small enough that you can maneuver it to treat back, sciatica, shoulder, etc. For someone with sciatica, that's huge! I no longer have to wait to see a therapist or have someone massage a lump in my lower back/buttocks. For such a small massager, it delivers a powerful massage effect and is very quiet like all massagers I've had before. sounded like a jackhammer without providing such a deep massage. The device is easy to hold and maneuver in the desired places, even at maximum speed it does not become difficult to move or hold. If you have muscle or nerve pain, I would highly recommend this massager.
