Review on Hypertech 730119 Speedometer Calibrator – High-performance Speed Calibration Tool by Stephen Cooper

2014 Toyota Tundra Crew Max: Everything worked as described, speedometer was fine. It took two attempts to get this unit to my house. The first time it got lost in the mail or something and it never showed up. It was quite difficult for me to get the software I needed to calibrate my car. Luckily I was able to find a drive from a previous Hypertech purchase that I used. Otherwise, I'm not sure I could get it to work using the software download site. The installation is quite easy. I removed some panels and instrument clusters. As far as installation is concerned, the device connected without any problems. I put my truck back together and found that my remote start was having issues. The truck didn't want to tip over. It just sat there trying to start until I put the key in the ignition and reset the remote start. I contacted support and they weren't very helpful. However, they had never heard of this problem before. I removed the hypertech block and the remote boot issues were resolved. I decided that a remote start was better than a spot start on the speedometer, so I sent the unit back.
