I bought this lamp for my husband who wanted something to read with while I sleep or early in the morning if he has to get up early. First impression: I was surprised at how small the box was when it arrived! See photo for comparison with my hand. When the box was opened, the neck of the lamp was wrapped several times to fit in the small box. Pros: - Neck feels pretty solid and stays right where you move it - It has 3 different light colors and 2 different levels to choose from (total 6 lighting options) - Simple and easy-to-use controller on cord to adjust lights - slim and flimsy - comes with a flat base to attach if you don't want it to be a clip - On the Cons: - Smaller than I imagined. It will probably be better if attached to a headboard or attached to a wall for better lighting.
