I have wanted to install an LED strip on the terrace for a long time. I googled a bit and settled on this set. I modified the top rail and installed the light strip into the cut slot. WHITE color has a clear bluish tint. In less than a day the RED color stopped working. All other primary color keys, single color keys and function keys work fine. When using one of the moving light functions (FLASH, STROBE, FADE or SMOOTH) RED is not displayed. Besides WHITE I would choose RED. This lighting tape has a higher weather resistance than most others. The housing around the LED strip is quite massive and the cable connection is well sealed. The RGB controller is NOT weather and water resistant and must be housed in a suitable enclosure when installed outdoors. There are five brightness levels for the lighting. The first two images of lights turned on at dusk show WHITE light and intensity at full brightness. The first night shot shows the same configuration. The last two shots (assuming they are shown in the order I chose) are the light intensity at the second from the lowest setting. This is probably the setting I'm going to leave. The lowest setting is acceptable to me to provide enough light to see the patio area, but it's too dark for me at the moment. The highest setting is bright and provides good patio lighting. In general, I am satisfied with the newly installed fittings. However, I am disappointed that the color RED no longer works. As mentioned, this would be my second color choice. So I'm giving it a three star rating. Many Thanks.
