I recently switched from shaving with a cartridge to shaving DE and, after a lot of research, decided on the Muhle R89 Twist. The razor did not disappoint. It's fairly forgiving with a medium-aggressive blade, and even though I have a coarse beard, it still gives a close shave. You can see the high quality of construction and finishes. It's solid and a bit heavy, meaning the razor gets most of the work done without much pressure. The handle is long enough to accommodate those with medium to large hands.
