Review on Dbvisit Standby by Eric Surabhi

It's easy to use, it helps us have good backups and restore operations with minimal risk of failure. And we can easily see what was backed up and when (and by whom). The only thing I don't like about this product is that sometimes there are some problems during backup or restore operation which causes downtime for few hours until they fix them. If you want fast recovery from database failures without worrying about lost transactions/data then give dbVisits standby system try. We were using DBMS_BACKUP package before but now switched over to dbVisit standbys because its so much faster than previous way. Also you no longer need lots of disk space as well!
