terrible turntable: turntable and accessories

very cool style. I was deceived too. Don't buy this if you like your records. While the stylus is an audio piece (good quality for those interested in vinyl), the tonearm, like the rest of the interior, is plastic. Typical Crosley. I honestly wouldn't mind as I didn't know much about vinyl at the time of purchase, but the price convinced me; At such a high price point, you could buy a much better turntable like the Audio Technica LP60, which will only cost you around $80-$90. and it's fully automatic, so you don't have to worry about scratching the records with shaky hands. I switched when I noticed that this Crossley had a crooked pelvis and so did the arm! Don't let cool vintage style get you down; This product is absolute junk for the price. Should sell for $30 or less. For those of you who don't know, the tonearms should (preferably) be composite metal to reduce resonance in the sound. If the tonearm is made of plastic (this is plastic), then it picks up the vibrations of the reproduced sound and reproduces these vibrations at the output. Produce sound with very low fidelity (low-fi). Why would anyone buy this product when you can get a great sounding turntable for a lot less? do research. Don't be like me and you'll have to spend close to $300 before you learn your lesson.
