This design has several fatal flaws that render it unusable and compel me to return it. The hard plastic speaker is too thick to fit under the ear; Its thickness is 24mm compared to Pillowsonic's rigid plastic construction of 16mm. That's the difference between comfort or lack of it, regardless of the thickness of the padding. The driver's upper frequency range drops too low, making the sound dull. (That's without additions to further attenuate it.) I'd be surprised if the spectrogram could find audio information above 4kHz (the human auditory range nominally extends to 18 or 20kHz). Finally, the mini connector is not machined. for adequate tolerability. It's dangling in my internet radio's jack, causing an intermittent connection, while four other earbuds and headphones fit snugly into the same jack. Keep searching. I'll look for something like the Pillowsonic with just one speaker because there's no point in having stereo speakers if you're only using one ear.
