Review on Dreamhood Inserts Sleeping Feather Breathable by Scott Chen

Soft, comfortable, well-filled pillows

I was looking for a pair of down pillows to replace my 10+ year old pillows and came across this set from Dreamhood. They seemed just what I wanted and the price was right so I ordered them. My pillows came "vacuum packed" and I started opening the package, they immediately started to expand. I tossed them in the dryer for about 10 minutes on medium setting just to fluff them up a bit. After I took them out, they were literally 5 times thicker than when I put them in. I still like to put pillows in the dryer if I can only get them to "air out". Some pillows have a "chemical smell" when you receive them. These don't have. What I really like about these pillows is that they have a 100% cotton cover. I find cotton cooler to sleep in and I just prefer natural fabrics. The pillows are also filled with goose feathers... 10% down and the rest is normal goose feathers. I think it's a good mix. This way they won't get too soft and will keep their shape better. And goose down/feathers are by far the best. Because they are softer, nothing stands out at night. The Dreamhood pillows feel well constructed. The seams are tight and the outer fabric is soft and dense. I have a feeling they will last a long time. I am very happy with my new down pillows. They are soft and comfortable but also very supportive. The first night I used them I felt like I was sleeping on a pillow I've had for a long time... with no interruption in my periods... which is a huge plus for me. I recommend them if you are looking for a good set of feather pillows.
